I went out to the barn yesterday and realized that I now only have a single D cell incandescent flashlight in my house which is.. unacceptable. I'm looking to pick up either 2 or 3 flashlights for different purposes, nothing too intense though. Metal is strongly preferred, as is LED and bar type form factor, switch style doesn't bother me. I have a gigantic stock of AA and AAA batteries at my disposal so I'd prefer to get a flashlights that can use AAA or AA, but I'll probably be making the jump to lithium later on. To give you an idea of my standards and what I've seen previously, i was gifted a NEBO Redline for Christmas a few years ago and loved it. It was the brightest flashlight I've ever had and the adjustable lens made it a dual purpose light. Unfortunately it vanished recently so now i'm here. Here's what I think i'm looking for at the moment.

A good floody light that i can use to light up my yard from my porch, about 100ft to the treeline. I live in the countryside periodically need to check for critters or lost cats/chickens, so a super wide beam with sufficient illumination at 100ft would fit my needs (i think).

A heavy thrower for my field. My house sits on about 140 acres of land, and immediately north is around 1500 ft of rolling fields. It would be nice to have a light that could throw a beam to the back off the treeline and anywhere in between.

An edc (that means every day carry right?) light for my backpack. I'm also a full time student so something i could carry in my backpack or pocket easily would be fantastic. It seems a pen style light would work best.

I hope i've provided enough information for some good suggestions. My budget is between 150 and 200 for all 3 items. I'm tempted to just get a fenix, and another nebo. Are there super bright throwy lights with adjustable beam patterns like the nebo?

TL;DR need 3 lights under 150-200 usd, one long throw, one short flood, one pen light, metal led alkaline

Thank you for any suggestions!

UPDATE

So i've spent the better part of my day researching various options and thought i might share my findings. Originally i was drawn to the Fenix TK41 because it is capable of running on AA's, but after tons of searching i'm leaning towards the sunwayman t40cs, here. It could be powered by Tenergy 2-Channel 18650/14500 Li-ion Battery Charger and 2 Li-Ion 18650 Button-top this. I like the sunwayman mostly because the youtube videos showed it as the brightest of the 100 dollar range throwers. For the random around the house lights i heard about these cheapo flashlights on amazon, i figure'd one of BBQbuy@7w 300lm Mini Cree Led Flashlight Torch Adjustable Focus Zoom Light Lamp, would do the job in a pitch black night for my off the porch lighting. For the backpack light i'm strongly considering one of the Preon lines strictly on the basis that they look amazing.

I'll probably order them tomorrow but some insight before i do would be amazing, i'm leery about dropping 200 bucks on something i'm so completely foreign to! anybody have any thoughts?

Hi,
For general check the yard use I have a solarforce L2p using their XML U2 3 mode dropin. Floody and bright. This dropin is the only multimode i've seen that will take either cr123's, rcr123's or 18650's. It's nice to have options. The solarforce m3 head which fits the L2p is an excelent thrower due to the larger diameter head. For EDC I choose between thrunight c1 (XML T6)or eagletac D25A Ti clicky (XPG2) for pocket carry. A thrunight A1 (XML T6) in a belt pouch with my wallet and a titainium inovation Illumina Ti AAA on my keyring. I like the flexability of the AA lights for EDC if you need a replacement battery in a pinch. I use li 14500's but could use ni metal hydride or even alkalines in a pinch. My keys beat the tar out of the anodising on my thrunite ti so I got a titainium AAA hoping it would be tougher. The XML is more floody and the XPG2 is more throwy. I realy like the user interface of the eagletac and thrunite lights.
