Can I use other types of batteries for a red keychain laser diode? Like AAA batteries..

I believe the answer is yes, but you need to figure out how many you need to get the proper voltage.

yes, i just run my red keychain laser from 3 AA batts, i saw the case up and then just soldier onto the batt terminal and then soldier to the case as well. it normally uses 3 of those button cells
