These are a great color. I'd love to see 1* 18650 and 1* 26650 and even a 1* 32650 with this head and in this color. (hint, hint)
 
Agreed, I love this color, and the combinations above. I wish there had been a few more 2x18650 offered (hint, hint)

Was there some "trick" to get this light to work other than putting in the 3 charged cells in positive end first and then push the black rubber end button??

These are complete host. No batteries and no lamp/modules included.
They will not work without right (correct) lamp or LED module and properly installed right (correct) batteries.
