Reflector abuse.

I was thinking about stripping my SF U2 LuxV and throwing in an MC-E with a warm tint. Anyways, My U2 is pretty thrashed. So I was thinking, why not give it a paint job. I am trying to choose between Brownells Gunkote and Duracoat. I like the Gunkote better and think that the OD green would match SF HA Na better. My question is, can the reflector handle the 300F bake required?

I think it can but don't do it just on my opinion!

As an aside I have a completely crazy idea of boring out the reflector completely and installing a turned down McR 38 Joker.

It should be able to handle the heat. The reflector's coating was a lot hotter than 325˚F when it was applied.
