reflector difference

Hi all, Just a quick question. I was just about to order a KD reflector for a mag P7 and noticed that DX have one also. They are about the same diameter (52mm) but the KD depth is 29mm and the DX is 23mm. How is the difference in depth going to change the spot/flood between the two, or is it neglible. Also will the KD one fit or is it too deep. Cheers Pugga

hey pugga,

is it really the same one. I use one too frm DX bit i needed to modifiy itt a little bit. it depends on the size of the whole thing. to fit it into the maglite its getting a little bit difficult. don´t know which one i have but it almost doens´t fit because it gets into contact with the heatsink body. I had to open the hole for better led fitting. I intend to buy another one from KD. this time the maglite op made from aluminium. this might be the better choice.
