Hi All,

I received new MadMAx lite 500(which was impressive improvement over old badboy I've had, producing 1015 lux form 1 meter vs. 335 on BB) and while assemblying that one and sorting out all the mag parts I have accumulated I've found couple mag 2aa reflectors. Which leads to question in the subj. If I cut down mag2aa reflector I guess around 4 5 mm, will it fit Longbow? I am not all that experienced int that kind of work, so all I can do is cut the base with a dremel, and minor filing work, so, will this be suffice, or there is some problem with all that or something I should know about before I start and screw things up?

OBTW, same question for MadMax sandwiches. I want to replace fraen with reflector, don't really like all those squares. Just cut the reflector or drill the wider hole in it?

I believe the lip/rim of the MagAA reflector will prevent it from fitting into a Longbow unless it is removed. I'm not for sure as I don't remember but I'll check tonight.

Doh... I failed miserably on both attempts.
One reflector(for longbow) was ruined during dremelling. Although, you were right, the lip won't allow reflector to sit properly, it has to be cut off. That and I figure upper part of the reflector as well, around 2 mm.
Simply drilling the bigger hole in another reflector to fit the mag 2AA with MadMax in it didn't work out wel either. Botom part of the reflector has thickness, which looks like a dark hole , and I didn't have a drill to drill the precide one, and even in that case the LED will be partly outside of reflecting surface, whatever the thickness of the reflector bottom part is.
