I got my Regalight EDC today. Here are some photos taken by me.

I think it is possible to screw the Hawk snipe lamp bezel together with a bigger and longer tube.

Wall test with the Hawk snipe lamp bezel. 0.5m away from the wall. Maximum brightness with 1.2V 2100mAh Ni-MH AA battery.

What happened to the chrome ring in the original pic's? yours does not show it.Also have you tried the snipe head yet tell us more

No, there is no chrome ring. It is different from the vendor supplied photo.

How is the fit and finish? and the beam quality, is it good, how about the UI what is that like, do you lose the "Tactical Light" if you go in to "Custom Brightness"?

Maybe they just did not HA the ring/bottom of the head on the ES...

Good point it looks all in one so that is most likely.In the beam shot the hot spot looks not centred:thinking: maybe that can be tweaked as the pill is not glued in place:shrug:

I am not high demanding and I am quite satisfied with its build quality (at least the lens of the Hawk is crystal clear:twothumbs, not fogged:thumbsdow). With the Hawk and maximum brightness, I can see a beam to the sky. However, I do not get used to its user interface. To me it is quite confusing to switch between Tactical Light, Custom Brightness, Standby and Strobe. I need more practice.

Yes, when I move the flashlight far away from the wall, it is obvious that the hot spot is not centered.

is the mode changig simply a cycle through with a forward switch and a difficult-to-access hidden mode?(custom)
