How headlamps you know with next parameters -

- manual refocusing, from spot to flood, as in Led LEnser H7.
- digitally regulated with 3-4 levels as in Fenix HP 10/
- AA battery.

The white color Petzl RXP uses 3 AA batteries
and has the flip up/down diffuser.
It costs double the LED Lenser H7.

Some people think Regulated headlamps are stupid
because the button is right on your head.
Very easy to reach.
When batteries are weak click to a higher setting.

the Mammut x zoom has rubber squares behind the headlamp to
help it stay on a helmet and not slip. One review I read said it hurts to wear it
against your bare forehead.
Looked at one at REI and saw it does indeed have hard rubber squares that
look uncomfortable. Also the battery pack has them also.
Good for helmets not for bare heads.

^ then take 'em off and put on some foam tape, or pieces of high density open cell sponge held on with caulking or contact cement could be pretty comfy too.
