repair of a PLS 5-way laser?

I have a PLS5 that's about eight years old and the laser seems to be getting dim. Is there anyone that can mod/repair these things? PLS/Fluke doesn't repair these things.
If this isn't the correct forum to ask this in, would someone please point me to the appropriate place?
