Newly Enlightened
I recently took apart my old oral B 3D tooth brush because it was getting old and the sealed battery would not hold a charge (maybe for 1, 2 minute session). It turns out that brush uses an odd battery about the same diameter as a AA but the length of AAA. I removed the old battery and replaced with a AAA niMH- fits very nicely, after putting some packing foil around it (no side to side movement). Its great now, unfortunately the inductive charging feature is gone but I have a maha 800 unit to charge the AAA. It lasts about 4 days before needing to be refilled (usually brush torque begins to slow at around 60%). Its great because now I dont have to lug around the charger on trips .
