I have an older NiteRider Classic Nimh light system that has a 12w spot and a 20w flood. I upgraded the battery by taking two 6 cell 3300mah sub C packs from my R/C helicopter and wired them in series and put them in a new waterbottle.
Since I have more battery capacity now, I'm wondering if I would get better lighting by replacing the 12w spot with another 20w flood for a total of 40 watts on high.
My lights are used only for commuting, no off road riding.
