Request CTA D-Cell Spec Sheet. Also some long term testing data here.

Does anyone have a link for the CTA D-Cell 12,000 mAh conventional NiMH battery? I purchased 8 of them in 2006 for a project I was working on at the time. Since they are no longer available, and CTA doesn't seem to market rechargeable batteries anymore, I am having trouble locating it.

I used those 8 cells about 20 times in 2006 and have recharged them on my MAHA C808M about once a year since then. Decided to test them on my CBA II at 1A current draws. The first two batteries lasted about 7 Ah at the 1A rate. The third battery sagged to the 0.9 V cutoff from its 1.4 starting voltage in about 30 seconds. I tried discharging it at 100 mA for a minute and it seemed to work at 1.10 V so tried again at 1A and it sagged a bit to 0.93 V for about 5 minutes and then rebounded to to 1.07 and has been running for the past hour. All of these tests are fresh off the MAHA with soft trickle charge. Will see what the next five batteries show.

I'm going to purchase some LSD D-cell's for testing purposes. I liked the AccuEvolution 10,000 mAh cells, but they have been getting some bad reviews with the later revision with regards to voltage sag. There doesn't seem to be a lot of quantified data in the threads so was going to run them on the CBA II. The other LSD model I was look at was the MAHA Imedion 9500 mAh.

Does anyone have any other high capacity LSD D-cell recommendations? Any cells out there not Made In China? No offense to the country intended, but looking for something that may have tighter quality controls like the Made in Japan Eneloop AA's.

As an aside, recently purchased some Sanyo 4HR-3UWX Eneloop XX and all tested at least 2500 mAh minimum on the Lacrosse. My Duraloops from 2009 I have been using in remotes and wireless keyboards/mice are still testing at 2000 mAh minimum.

So far I've placed orders for the AccuEvolution 10,000 mAh and Imedion 9500 mAh.

Also ran across the following:

Nexcell EnergyON 9,000 mAh LSD
Ansmann MaxE Accu-Battery 8,500 mAh LSD
Tenergy Centura 8,000 mAh LSD

Am I missing any other D-size LSD cells on the market?

I didn't include the lower capacity rewrapped Energizer or the sub-C Rayovac. I also am aware of the Eneloop D-Cell LSD available in Japan that is 3 AA cells. I would be interested in testing that one, but have no way of obtaining one for testing.
