Request: X990 vs. THOR - pics, beamshots, info

The resent group buy for the X990 has re-sparked my interest in the X990.
I am on the list as a "maybe" and am about 2 seconds from asking to be bumped to a YES I WANT ONE !

I have a THOR 10 MCP spotlight, which is my brightest light.
I was wondering of anyone could please post some pics and beamshots comparing these two lights.

Any info on the 2 lights would also be very useful.

A few of the main questions I have about the X990 are:
is it water resistant at all?
Will getting water on the lens heat frator it?
How much does it weigh?

I believe it weighs around 6lbs. They are no longer marketed as Mcculloch, but are made by the same parent company...

Anybody know what size cells are in the battery for the X990? I'm thinking I could probably rebuild my second pack with higher capacity cells...

Can somebody tell me how difficult that Thor HID mod is? How much would all the parts cost me?

Is there a way to make the x990 more water resistant.

I have compared the X990 to a stock Thor and the Thor holds up very well. I would say it has 90% of the output of the X990 for sure.
