Reviews on Shining Beam Romisen RC-2R4 II R5

I am planning on picking up this flashlight. Does anyone own one? Let me know how it is.

This light is awesome. I have one and love it. I got a 18650 trustfire battery also. I have had the light for almost two month's now and through the new light stage and a power outage of a few of hours it still is on it's first charge. I don't use it every day but I have used it quite a bit. It is not a long thrower outdoors. However if you want to light something up within 100 feet. This has to be one of the best beams I've seen. (It Will shine farther just spreads out to far to be much use past this IMO)It has no cree rings & a nice bright white center spot and plenty of spill. It is Not a cool yellow light. Low mode is more for battery life and is plenty bright for any use. Bottom line it is a great medium range tactical light more than twice as bright as an RC-N3 Q5. Anyway that is my thoughts. Hope this helps

That's not the same light (it uses a far inferior XP-C LED). The subject line tells you that the light is available from Shining Beam.

Thanks I missed that, however the pic on the DX site seems to show a XP-G. No one has one yet to confirm.
