Got my rexlight 2.1 today, stuck a 14500 in it and tested it....all modes worked fine, had a little play with it for 5mins and then released it was only switching between hi/lo.

I mean just hi/lo suits me fine but I don't like the idea that it might be broken. Has the light fallen into some special mode? Is there a way to reset it to its original state?

The light comes with a soften silicon operational switch in orange color. The switch feels good and works very precisely. This flashlight operates on a reverse clicky switch. The switch clicks on and off. To switch between three main-light-modes, stay on any low mode for four seconds (two seconds for daily mode), and quickly switch off the light within the next two seconds interval. You will be reminds with two quick blinks (one for daily mode) when four seconds elaspe (two seconds for dialy mode). The improved "smart two seconds" allows the light to remeber its last setting, when you stayed on any light mode for more than two seconds. This feature is disabled by request in daily mode. Daily mode is packed with only low mode and high mode with no light memory for convenience; Tactic mode comes with low/middle/high modes with light memory; Advance mode comes with all the low/middle/high/Strobe/SOS modes with light memory.

This is why I don't have any multi-mode programmable lights. They're smarter than I am!

Thanks Scott....I've read that 3 times and still none the wiser on how to change it back :D No matter I want to keep it like this and I'm sure I'll work it out, just pleased it isn't faulty.

It wouldn't hurt for them to stick some instructions in the box!

EDIT: Ahh sussed it out now.....starting to like this light a lot!

My Jetbeam C-LE V1.0 (purchased from DX) has started doing the same thing. It is now a two mode light. I am sad to lose the turbo mode but I am not unhappy about losing the SOS and Strobe :)

Anybody wants to make me an offer on it :)
