Ridiculously bright torches

Hi,

I've been away from the scene for a little while.
I'm looking for a shortcut to the most outrageously bright led torches around please.
Last ones i bought were the Fenix TK70 and the single cree Jetbeam RRT.
There should be some nice wicked upgrade out there waiting for me.
Please help bring it and myself together :-)

Check out the Oveready site. I've got one of their Moddoolar H3 1600 lumen triple-heads on the way. It slaps right on to a body tube, I already have two hosts that can take it.

Looks like it's going to be big, fat lumens... we'll see. I have high hopes, this will be my first Oveready.

ps: They were very polite and knowledgable in answering my pestering questions by email. Good on them!

This is a bit of a wonky time to buy an insane-output LED light, because the multi-emitter era is just winding up; this is the year the handheld LED flashlight takes on the HID, and it's coming quickly. Right now, there's the Thrunite TN30, 2780 lumens, but a 3000+ lumen Fenix is on the horizon, and the there's the Lux-RC Fatboy, somewhere around 6000 lumens..

Just 1600L, but the head is tiny. It's slim pocket sized, versus sorta "coke can sized" like the FireFoxes FF3 hid or Thrunite TNs or Nitecore "Tiny Monster."

I'm very pleased with my SF lego, though both bodies are running the "sorta too small IMR 16340 3.7v." I could get higher output out of this head, but I'll need to get a bigger host body.

E2D and Scoutlight bodies, with the following heads:
Oveready M H3
SF KL4 "wall of light," not so crazy bright, runs off of nearly dead batteries that won't push the E2D incan lamp. "I'm almost out of battery!"
SF E2D original incan head that is screaming out for an LED mod or dropin. It's obsolete, but suitable for fixing.

I ordered the Oveready head with an adapter to fit SF E-series. I should be able to pull the adapter and drop the head on a SF 9p as well. I'll get around to it.

Basically, this doesn't look too obtrusive in the pocket... it's what I picked. I *absolutely* love the tint and the hotspot of the beam is beautiful and even. Very, very crispy. With the Oveready H3 and (not maximum battery option) IMR 16340x2, I was scanning a treeline at about 250 yards last night. Great stuff for a slim 2-cell old light body! I just have to be careful not to instaflash my SF E2D incan lamp, yeah just burned one because my SF CR123 primaries look the same color as the IMR while in the light.

I also agree with StarHalo about how LED is going to be winding up. The new XM-L U2 emitter at 2.8 amps each is going to be insane in a 7 emitter big light. I'll get one, of course! :)

FirefoX FF3 is a 4000 lumen hid flashlight, no bigger than the TK75 and runs on 4 18650's

Argle, thats the sort of output i was hoping to find!
Maybe i do need to build one.
I was hoping for at least 4000 lumens, or something compact and 3000.
The TK70 i have found to be somewhat akward with its long tube.
Still it wows non flashaholics :-)
