I would like to try out a right angle LED light for Christmas. The only one I have really looked at it the Zebralight H502W.

Are there any other good options to check out?

What's your intended use for the light? The H502 series is nice but it is a 'mule' style light and while absolutely brilliant for tasks at arm length away (reading, cooking, repairing stuff etc) it lacks the 'punch' to see light stuff up further away. You could have a look at the Zebralight H52Fw - it should have a 'throwier' beam.

Do you specifically want an AA format light? You could take a look at the Spark ST-5, it's more of a 'T' shaped light than 'L' shaped.

Or, for a bit of variety, have a look at the Sunwayman L10A (judging just from the specs, I don't rate it as highly as the Zebralights)
 
I've got a Rofis JR20, which is very good as its head can be set at any angle between 0 and 90 degrees. it's not the most stable tail standing and not the brightest (by todays standards - 310 lumen) but its versitility is great.

fenix MC11 is another option. i have the MC10 and its pretty durable. more durable than any of the zebralights ive ever tried.
