Hi All,
I have a 6 D Mag that ive had kicking around for many years and i dont use it anymore, i was going to get rid of it due to my collection of LED Flashlights that make it comepletely redundant but after doing a bit of reading i decided to spend a bit of money on the old girl and fork out for the ROP upgrade. My question is in regards to powering it, i hear alot of people talking about using AA's in D converters etc, is there any reason why i couldnt just use Accupower Evolution LSD D Cells, 6 of them would give me 7.2 Volts which is perfect for the ROP bulb, i should get full power out of the light if im not mistaken. I will use the light on hunting trips and charge before i go, so having batteries that will last for months in the light isnt a concern, my only concern's are light output and runtime. Appreciate any help, i usually just buy off the shelf LED lights so this will be my first time tinkering with a light (all be it very basic).
