Sold/Expired ROP Battery Question

I read in one of the orriginal thread's the optimal AA battery to use in a 2D ROP was the CBP1640's as they can put ou the 10 amps. I can no longer find them. Anyone have any suitable alternitive. Also they recomend using 6 AA cells although I have been succsessfull using 7 Sanyo 2700 cells with a dummy cell without instaflash.

Using 6AA Sanyo Eneloop LSD cells here no problems.

6 Eneloop AA for me too - output comparable to 2 x 18650, without the safety concerns.

I have been using 7 Eneloops and a dummy cell in my 2D ROP with no prolem.
