Did anyone ever figure out how to get the cells out of the case?

Cut it open? Seriously, I don't think it's possible. That light was an odd design...I have one, and I'll dig it out of storage and fiddle with it. But I'm pretty sure the battery and body were one unit, with the switch and head assembly being a seperate unit.

Well, someone figured out it had 3NiMH sub-c's in it, so it must come apart somehow...but I can't figure it out!!
