SAK Handles & Modding

Just a quick question... olooking at some SAK at swissknifeandtool - how do i tell if they the the gloss handles or the textured handles? it says cellidor plastic...

In regards to modding, how easy is it to say switch a tool to get the right combo your after or is there anyone that could do it for me? Or point me in the right direction...

The glossy handles are not my type. Try find a farmer with alox handles, more commonly refereed as scales. They are much better IMHO.

You should create an account at bladeforums, if you don't already.
The SAK forum there is full of modders.

There is a nice post on edcf about putting circuit boards on a SAK in place of the origional handles, I did this to a rally and it made for a lovely and thin knife. I have also ordered from swissknifeandtool and they seemed pretty good to deal with.
