I recently ordered a couple of 1x123 HA bodies from Wayne at the Sandwich Shoppe. They arrived today.

Fit and finish of the bodies are nice. Knurling isn't as aggressive as some, but these flashlight bodies are for the EDC side of things. It's still a well made body. Color (as usual with HA) is not matching the other HA stuff I have, but it's close enough that it's not a concern. The E series heads that I have fit perfectly fine.

The two stage tailcaps also fits my E-series SF bodies. So you can play total Lego maker if you want to. And the SureFire tailcaps work on the SS bodies too.

Now for it's intended use - Combined with a KL1 SureFire head and a 16340 battery - I can say that this is a totally cool combination.

The two stage tailcap works just like the L1 Lumamax - you get reduced power with a partial press. With a full press of the switch - you get full power. And it's protected so that you can tail stand the flashlight. On top of that, you can screw the tail cap down partially to get low power, and fully to get full power.

The bodies fit the KL1 and even the KX1 head that I have very well.

Attached to the KX1 head, you get a slight bonus. Using 16340's and the KX1, the low power cap ends up being a strobe. It's enough to hurt your eyes - and I'm sure the effect is totally unintentional. However, it's cool enough to mention that it should be listed as a feature.

Delivery was fast, and the packaging was pristine. Included with the shipment were two SureFire SF123 primaries too - which was unexpected. That's killer customer service.

Wayne - Thank you for your work! It's great!
