I'm assuming this is a misprint. Note the voltage.

Hi Nascar-

This looks like non US packaging, maybe UK. The voltage is clearly wrong. I wonder if that is a clue that the whole item is a fake?

Hello Ray,

[url-http://sanyo.wslogic.com/pdf/pdfs/CR-P2.pdf]Here[/url] is the data sheet for the CR-P2 from Sanyo.

Looks like it is two cells in series.

Tom

So a CR-P2 is a double CR2 in series for 6V. Clearly that is not what is in this package. Maybe even more reason to be a little suspicious.

I hear ya. With my Titans and Ions coming this week, I need to re-stock my CR2 cells. I have a few Battery Station ones left and a couple Sanyo's left. I really like the Sanyo's and was looking for the best deal. I may just break-down and pay the $2.50 per from BS.

cheapbatteries.com has a pretty good deal for Duracell cr2's. I think I'd use those in preference to batterystation cells in case of explosions or whatever. Not that duracells are necessarily less likely to explode; it's that they're sold as photo batteries rather than flashlight batteries, so they're not fazed at having to fix or replace a $500 device when a cell damages it now and then.

Just wondering what would stop them from saying it's a photo battery and not intended for flashlights?

I don't think they're trying to get out of fixing stuff damaged by their batteries. They charge more than Batterystation does partly because they're a name brand, but (maybe) also partly because they expect the batteries to be used in more expensive devices, so they have to set aside a bigger slice of each battery's retail price towards that type of expense.

As someone said upthread, that CR-P2 package had the wrong battery in it. CR-P2 is a side by side 6v battery with two CR2's inside, similar to the DL223A which has two 123A's inside.

I just ordered 10 from them. Almost did 20 but I think 10 will last along time. With the way the Titan works you'll never be using more battery than you need. My NovaTac still has the original battery in it and I use it everyday at work plus I've played with it a ton since getting it.
My Titan will be here Wednesday. I can't wait!!

10 should last a long time:)

i just ordered 12 duracell 123's as well as some AA's and AAA's .
i had emailed them regarding expiration on the 123's and was told it is 2017 which is very new.
hopefully the cr2's will be just as new!

Did they send you a shipping notice? All I have gotten so far was the order confirmation from when I placed the order. Nothing since.

I just contacted them and was told if it's a small order it's shipped first class and their won't be any shipping email. It was shipped the same day I placed the order. The guy I talked to was very friendly and helpful. As long as I receive them it seems like a good place to do business.

i received the shipping notice the next day after ordering.

it came with a usps tracking number.

Hey, guys. There's a surplus place here in town that had the CR2 cells for a couple of bucks if I recall. I'm headed up there tomorrow, so I'll confirm the price and brand of them (I want to say they were Kodak maybe).

sbebenelli, when they arrive, could you post what expiration date they have, i'm just curious, thanks!

Avatar28, batterywarehousedirect.com has duracell cr2's for 1.99 each and they carry lots of other quality batteries for cheap.

if your looking for cr2's check them out!
