Scallion Disassembly Question

[GPB]

I've got a new Kershaw Scallion and I love it, so, of course I want to take it apart. I'm concerned about the spring that opens it. I don't want that to go flying across the room as soon as I separate the sides, leaving me with a useless pile of knife parts.



Can someone who has taken one of these apart let me know what I'm in for before I ruin my knife ?
