Anyone having trouble with finding a holder for their G&P Scorpion? I have found that the tailcap assembly from a surefire 6p, or the like, will fit however, you really have to tighten down the tailcap to get it to turn on and the momentary on, "push button" does not work. I think with a different spring and maybe a washer it would work. The flutes on the tailcap of the G&P are wider than the body, hence, keeping it from fitting in a duty holder. With a similar tailcap assembly like that of a 6p, it will slip right in.
The trouble I'm having is where the sides of the "plunger" in the tailcap meet the body of the flashligh, hence the reason for the washer. I think. Has anyone else thought of this, or am I behind the times. Would really like to carry this light whie on duty. Any suggestions or just keep plugging away?
