I run 2k pro at home and have yet to see a compelling reason to upgrade to XP.

Maybe if I can scam a cheap OEM version of XP someday...

A full 2K install does take quite a while to boot, but most of the time there's something else to do. And I only do it once or twice a day. No activation, useless fluff, etc. Although just from using it, XP seems to have a better graphics layer.

I agree Win 2000 is good but I got spoiled by XP and now I don't run Win 2000 much.

It seems you can get XP relatively cheap on eBay. I got a full retail XP Pro a few weeks ago for $148. It is apparently legit and it activated. I don't know where the sellers get them. Of course the sysbuilder OEM version is no doubt considerably cheaper. These are US sellers that take PayPal.

Whatever you do, don't give some outfit in Russia your credit card cuz they are selling XP for $30. Yeah, I know. You aren't that stupid, but some people do it.

Ok..I don't like clutter either. This is a shot of Spencer Glacier that can only be reached by riding the Alaska Railroad south towards Seward, Alaska. Yep, this is just "one" of the reasons I live here!
