Hey guys

I'm buying a light for a friend, and I've gotten a budget of about $166, although I doubt I'll need to spend that much.

Requirements are, a 'normal size', which when I limit myself to AAs is really 1xAA and 2xAA, and for any kind of decent output I'll need 2xAA anyway so that's what I'm looking at. The other is good output, good being at least 200lms in this case. I don't know how much 2xAA lights actually manage nowadays. It might also be a good idea to have at least two modes for map reading, saving batteries, and such. I don't want to buy a light with insane amounts of modes and clicking, I want a useful light, not one that needs an instruction manual.

I'm looking at the Sunway M20A presently - XP-G, 220 lumens for 2.5hours claimed output, and a very neat selector ring.

Are there any other 2xAA lights in the same output class and with similarly simple UIs I am looking past? Perhaps some XM-L lights coming out? :shrug:
