Secret Copyright Treaty Leaked

Interesting Slashdot story on a major copyright international treaty that has been kept secret, and now leaked. Appears to have major negative implications on the internet.

Wait, isn't the entire internet composed of uploaded information? So they would have to hire lawyers to research information for (potentially) months before it could be posted, to insure that it isn't copyright infringement?

Ha, they think they have a problem with that now? Just wait and see what happens if this is agreed to ... It'll be chaos... It could never happen...

The only way to stop copyright infringement would be to shut down the inter webz... And do you think the millions of companies out there, not to mention the people of this country, would actually allow that to happen?

But I feel faint thinking that anyone could be so egotistical as to think they could get away with it... BO is really getting uppity, aint he...

I did state Slashdot, which gives a snapshot of an issue posted by a member giving the link to the real story. Always how slashdot has worked.
