SF L1 tip down mod vs standard tip up?

i seem to recall that someone made a little mode to a surefire L1 such that a much longer (imho better) clip which allowed for tip down carry (like a mclux)...

and of course, i want such a mod, and details...!

i hate the tip up carry on surefires. bleah.

that would be mcgizmo...

he's one crazy kid. i believe he used some sort of clasp around the l1 groove.

i'm currently working on bezel-down piece for my e2e, but not as elegant as what he has done.
