I have a couple P60s that I was going to put for sale on CPFM but wanted to ask a question first...

I'm 99% sure I have never fired these up, but want to be positive before I claim that. The bulb will discolor slightly after running correct? These are perfectly clear.

Thanks!

If it does, it would be not be perceptible to the naked eye if you just fired it up to test it. If you want to test them without lighting them up, use a digital multimeter and check for resistance.

Fire them up to test, that's actually better than never used. Run each for a minute or 2, just to make sure they're ok.

As said above run the light for about a minute.

I am sure CPF members wont mind reading in the description "Tested and works fine"

Good luck with sale!

Just means we know we won't get infant mortality in our modules. I buy lightly used bulbs like that ... if not all the time, when my stock is low.

(my stock is about two spares for one light running P60s full time, and three potential hosts with better things to do)
