I recently received a Streamlight Propolymer 3C LED light that I ordered online. I was under the impression that the endcap switch was persistant on/off. The 4AA model works that way and the marketing says:

Push-button switching allows one-handed operation.

Anyway, it seems to work as follows: If I screw the cap on tight, the light is on. If I loosen the cap, the endcap switch works as an intermitent switch. (There's no click. You have to hold it.)
I've had it apart and it seems to be designed that way. I was just surprised and wanted someone to confirm that mine wasn't defective or something.
Thanks,
TLC
