Small Coleman rechargeable spot

Seems similiar in idea to the Koehler 300k hot spot, which I think has a 35 watt bulb and weighs a little over 1.5 lbs. I wish we had a Fry's around here, those stores have so much stuff for flashaholics.

What's the beam like?

Sounds like the other Coleman 2 Million, i.e. 100 watts. The reflector had facets and the beam is all broken up into a big flood. Actually, a flood with 100 watts is more useful for most purposes than a tight spot, but they need to describe it as such. 100 watts in a tight spot is just for annoying other people at a distance, you can't really use the beam up close to do any work, it's just too stupid bright.

Cold is all relative, the convertible tops here go down even when it's 50-heck that's toasty warm weather. Motorcycles are out when it's 33 and above. I don't put on a coat until it gets below 40, didn't last night, but it was a balmy 45.

Thanks for the updates, I too will have plenty of time to mess around this upcoming (long) winter. 25 watts isn't really spotlight power, but like you said, for $10, that's still a fair amount of light. I'll have to keep an eye out for that light. Having a handle that swivels I think is a big plus, since carrying the light like a lantern is much easier than balancing it on your wrist like a gun.

Maybe a lithium battery for better run time? Of course that would bump the price somewhat.
