I was going to put this in the general area but thought this would be the right spot. What is the brightest led of this type? do they make 1w modules in the glass? I just recently bought a cabelas 3d headlamp. kinda like a atom. though it is bright I want brighter and whiter.there is only enough room in the lamp for the bulb/led cuz its so small. I am guessing that the led in it now is bought 25 lumens maybe. can I get 45 to 50 lumens with this type of led? I have little experience with this type of led cuz I got addicted round the time of the luxeon. any help would b great. thanks in advance.

Some of those are. The NiteIze dropin for example is a 10mm LED. But don't expect anything bright with only a 5mm or 10mm LED. If you want more than 15 or so lumens out of a single LED, you'll need to switch to something else.
