You really get a better idea of how old your body is when you get back to the activities of the younger folks, but I am not as sore as I thought I would be. Squaw Valley overlooks Lake Tahoe, INCREDIBLE views. The longest run there is over 3 MILES LONG. We are going again Wednesday, IF my body allows it. Hopefully I will have a few pics to post after Wednesday, the ones we took today didn't turn out very well.

I will post one anyway, hopefully more to follow. This one is of myself, my niece and her boyfriend.

That's not too bad, just resist the urge of doing any tricks on Wend. hehe. I was shuffling between skiing forward and backward on Sat., got tripped and landed square on my left shoulder, still hurts now when I lift my arm.

I fell 4 times hard, every time it occurs when I catch an edge on a backside carve......and over the top I go:duck:. I never seem to be skilled enough to fall backwards.:duh2:

GH66,

You don't look too worse for the wear!

Better than my first attempt at snowboarding, somewhere in Idaho IIRC. I bet that mountain never had anyone hit it that hard with their face before!

We will se how I am after tomorrow, I think we are going to Squaw again.

I learned to board at Squaw Valley. The runs are fairly long, so I understand where you are coming from. I use to bomb it down the slopes and crash into unsuspecting skiers who got in my way. I was dangerous and out of control then. Fun times :) . Don't forget to stop by Reno!
