Solarforce L2 Gunmetal Accessories

I have an L2 that is currently loaded with the 9 volt version of the Thrunite 1.5 amp R5 P60. I actually took the pill out and put it in a Dereelight reflector for an even better beam. I have the extension for my L2 and I've tried it with 2 X 18650 and it is even brighter than with 2 X Cr123 (w/o the extension).

It got me wondering if there is a smaller extension for the L2 that would allow use of 3 X CR123? I prefer to use primaries in the summer because the car gets so hot.
My L2 is gunmetal so if the 1 extra CR123 extension is available in that color so much the better.


OK, I found the L2-ECR extension does the job...now does anyone know if it is made in gunmetal finish?

Also, has anybody found some sort of tube that can be used in the L2 to prevent CR123 from rattling around in there? The tube diameter is a little large for primaries.

you can get the Olight M20 battery magazine or EagleTac's battery holder. Both works equally well. However, EagleTac's cost a lot less.

Thanks! That's a great tip. I was thinking of some household tube that happened to be the right size but those look a lot better. I'll check out the Eagletac website.

Only $2.50 for the magazine! $6.38 shipping Ugh. Oops another website only charges $1.50. My favorite site too. I would have checked them first but I didn't think they'd have it. I'll wait til my next order and add this in. Hardly a week goes by I don't order something from Jay.

I hope the L2-ECR comes in gunmetal.

Most are black , but they do make Gunmetal and Sand L2M's ..
Maybe they can order one for you ...

Yes, I have the gunmetal finish 18650 extender but I don't know if they even make the L2-ECR in gunmetal. If nobody here has seen one I'm sure they don't exist.

L2M in gunmetal [ 18650 model ]

Ive just never seen them sell the Extension in gunmetal .. But you can ask , if they will sell you one or get one for you .. Because they do make them .
