Just noticed that the Solarforce L2 is now available with MC-E! I won't post the link but it's on Solarforce store and ebay.
Looks like it is single stage and designed to run a single LiIon. $50 seems a pretty good price too.
Specs:
Solarforce 450 Lumens CREE MCE LED Flashlight
L2 host assembly with a flat head
Uses a CREE MC-E LED reflector, LED lifetime 50,000 hrs
Uses 1X18560 (INCLUDED) rechargeable li-ion batteries
Up to 450 lumens of current regulated output (LED module)
Input voltage (LED module): 3.7V-4.2V
Aluminum alloy construction
Tail clicky switch
104 grams (without batteries)
Length x diameter (head and battery tube): 146mm x 32mm x 25mm
With holster
Perhaps Jake25 or one of our other Solarforce experts might have some more info on how hard the MC-E is being driven, regulation etc.
Who's going to order first?
