Im having a problem putting a Solarforce L2-S3 tailcap onto my Surefire 6P. I screw it down as far as I can get it and it's still about a 1mm from even coming into contact with the o-ring on the body. However the tail cap goes on just fine onto an L2 body. I also have a stock solarforce L2-S1 that will screw down fine onto the 6p body. But I want a forward clickie and for some reason the L2-S3 tailcap doesn't even come close to fitting onto the 6P body. Is it just a matter of too much ano on the threads in the tail cap or for some weird reason was it not meant to fit?

duboost did you purchase this L2-S3 from me? You most likely have an extra ring inside that can be removed. Should fix the problem.

i did, however it was a few months back. There's no extra ring in it though. Just the one with the two indents to unscrew the clickie, and the smaller one between the rubber tail cap and the actual clickie mechanism. My stock L2-S1 tail caps had the extra rings in it from u though. But even without the extra ring, i still can't get the L2-S3 tail cap on there
