Fenix TK-40 flashlight. The Fenix TK40 flashlight delivers 630 lumens of brightness and throws an impressive 275 meters. The TK40 is designed for outdoor search, cave exploration, or any activity that requires a reliable high output flashlight. Fenix is known for its combination of high quality and versatility, the TK40 fuses its outstanding performance with a perfect user interface, excellent ergonomics and light weight. With 4 levels of primary output, 4 flickering modes and an ability to run for 12 continuous nights, the TK40 has the versatility to meet many different lighting requirements, making it an indispensable illuminating tool for outdoor exploration, cross country vehicles etc. Runs on eight (8) AA batteries inserted in a special magazine. I've used it mainly with eight Eneloops on board, but I've also driven it with alkaline AA's on occasion. Comes in the original box with all the included accessories from Fenix. Batteries are NOT included. This has been a fantastic, reliable light for me but a change in duty requirements has forced me to transition to a smaller-size light. The TK40 is in excellent condition as you can see in the attached photos. It's used but you would have a hard time telling that. Sales within the US only please. Offered for $68.00 shipped via USPS First Class to US only. Will send additional photos on request via PM.

recently asked via PM what features made me most appreciate the TK40. My answer:
"originally bought the TK40 because of AA batteries (including Eneloops) vs not so available batteries, but came to admire it more for its impressive runtimes - Turbo (630 Lumens, 2Hrs, Default output )-Low (13 Lumens, 150Hrs ) -Mid (93 Lumens, 20Hrs ) -High (277 Lu mens, 6.8Hrs ).
I mean 20 hours of 93 Lu and almost 7 hours at 277 Lu!"

Just want to point out an often unappreciated quality of this light's runtime character. Unlike more modern LED lights that pump out mega lumens for a minute or so and then drop to 50% of that output, the TK40 can stay pretty close to its max 630 Lumens for close to 2 hours. There is a very slight drop in the first 10 minutes or so but then it's very flat for the rest of the time.
I think this quality is lost of many of us with the current focus on high initial Lumen outputs.
