Sold/Expired SOLD: Another S/S "Raket" With Seoul $29 shipped

First of all, you can see details about the 3AAA flashlight named "RAKET" here:

This is a pewter-colored stainless steel light. Much like the "ELLY" flashlight everybody seems crazy about.

The body is good, the original emitter and the way the (-) lead was attached was not so good. I've fixed both things. The one thing I couldn't fix in the budget is upgrading the plastic lens or the reflector.

Now that you've reviewed that, let me show you how the Seoul mod worked out. In the pictures below, the stock light is on the left, the mod is on the right. I used a SSC-P4 USW0H.

Thanks for noticing. The centering was achieved with some effort. The reflector is not perfectly centered. I had to move the emitter around until it's centered when the bezel is fully installed.

So far so good to me but sometimes my itchy hands & eyes just want me to do more work ( you know what i mean )

I don't know for sure. If it's anything like the BLIMP, which it appears to be, it would be a challenge.

The tint is great... the picture above is pretty accurate.

I hadn't noticed until I saw the picts above how much this light has in common with the 3AA Dorcy 1 Watt. Slight difference in the bezel.

I made another one of these (upgraded the one on the left) and measured the current on the eneloop NiMH batteries: 490 mA. That puts it at about 125 lumens, and somewhere near 2 hours runtime.
