Up for grabs is a completely custom P7 light made by gmcjimd. It's made in 6061 aluminum and is Hard Anodized in Black.
It runs on 3x 18650 in parallel in a custom holder. It's incredibly well built and tough, this baby was definitely meant to be used! It has three red tritium vials around the head, glow powder poured over with epoxy and glow powder around the emitter. The light utilizes a FM 3" reflector head and a UCL. It uses a driver that runs at 3.7v at 2.4amps, with 3 18650's it achieves a very respectable runtime.

If you've ever wanted a light with tremendous throw and a very good/useful spill, this is it. There is a donut present in the beam (since it does use a smooth reflector and a P7) but in actual use, I don't notice it.

I'm only selling it because it just sits on my desk and I only turn it on to wow my friends. $185 -> $160 -> $150 SOLD shipped priority w/ delivery confirmation. I'd also be willing to trade for a HD45 5w with a very nice tint, or a retrofitted one that utilizes a Seoul emitter. But I'd consider Surefires as well.
I can only take cash pp for now!

There is a small chip on the edge of the bezel.

the white marks on the head is just dust. Just goes to show how little I use this gem!

Re: FS: Custom 3x18650 P7 Light

Is this the biggest Twistie I've ever seen or is there a switch?

I got the pics to work by copying the address and pasting it in another window.
Try wrapping the picture's address in

Re: FS: Custom 3x18650 P7 Light

that sucker is humongous, like a big nulty. Seems fun, how much does it weigh? Does it have a good solid feel?

Re: FS: Custom 3x18650 P7 Light

I hope that's better... I did wrap the links in that... guess it's not working :(

And yep, it's a pure twisty. a fail-proof mechanism for a durable light :)

This is the P7

2629_718269345323_1226046_44132106_3738437_n.jpg

This is the M6 with the MN21 (500 lumens)

As you can see, the P7 has a more intense hotspot (throws farther). The camera's color balance makes the P7 look quite blue, while in reality it's quite white. Incredibly the M6 only runs for 20 minutes while the P7 puts out more lumens for over 2.5 HOURS!

wow...extreemly intense for a p7...very intresting

Wow, how did I miss this thread? Awesome setup with a great reflector and led! At first glance, the light looks like the size of a surefire 3p, until you see it compared to an M6! :twothumbs Nice build :twothumbs

Wow, this light is really nice. Well made; thicker than most lights. Thanks Penguin. Amazing what a 3" head will do with an LED. Also functions as a room illuminating "candle" with the head removed.

Regards,

Mark
