For sale: custom from Elektro Lumens, the DeCree is a Cree 1x18650 light. Built like a tank with thick walls, DeCree is bright with a broad flood. Excellent condition, though there are some pinpricks of missing ano here and there. Cell not included. PayPal only (no e-checks), no fees for PayPal, CONUS shipping included in the price. I like this 1 level light a lot. The only pb theano is not very durable.:twothumbs

Hey London Lad - you have this light, right? Or at least, you did buy that first block of 24 that EL put out.

I asked AWTYDad in a PM about heat build-up, but he hadn't used this light under such circumstances. Can you, or another DeCree owner comment on if the light (esp. the barrel) gets too hot if run continuously for, say an hour?

Also, is this completely unregulated? I couldn't quite glean that from the launch thread for this light in the EL forums.

They may have a resister or be DD, I have never looked that closely.

I have never run it for an hour but the led is mounted on a big ally sink and that sits straight in the body which is VERY thick wall ally.

There is a lot of chunky metal in this light!
