How much output does it lose with the 17670 and is it the new version with 1600 mah? You can ballpark it in % terms. I ask because I have one and my girlfriend loves it. I use it with primaries that are fresh most of the time as some other flashlights are used in a more back-up role. I am pondering the situation and am trying to determine if it is worth it to me. I dont use lanyards much. I'm also comparing it to a new one at Battery Junction. I am going to place an order from Matt soon so shipping would be virtually nothing and with the 5% it is $166.25. I'm not trying to give you a hard time just thinking if it makes sense to me. LMK about the above questions and I'll make a decision if still available.

Personaly i don't see any significant drop in output between primaries and AW's 17670 cell.
What do you mean by "I'm also comparing it to a new one at Battery Junction" ?
Because that's where i got it from, this light is a product of the cooperation between Matt of BJ and EngrPaul.

I'm surprised that you don't see a significant difference. I got mine from Matt too. No hidden meaning just what it states since I bought it there I'm thinking in terms of whether it makes sense to buy another used one for my GF for a rough difference of $20-25 delivered. Is the 17670 the new 1600mah cell.

Honnest to god i don't get this....
Matt has started the round 2 of the sale at $170 and there are a lot of ppl buying, yet noone wants to buy exactly the same thing with an extra rcr cell for $40 down....
