New Silver 3D Mag using a TXOK LuxIII LED on Yaesumofo’s perfect center O-sink with blue glow powder. The lens has been replaced with an UCL for better light transmission now talk about an eye scorcher 1252 Lux on the 10X scale at 1 meter off fresh Energizers. The LED color is nice and white.

How much current is going through the TX0K?
What would happen if you put in Nimh's?

I wouldn't run NiNH's in a DD light the LED will draw to much current and then /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif these are made for Alkies.

Got the light today.Very nice.The beam pattern is identical to my Lambda Promagnum so now I have a dilemma.Which do I keep? The one Sway made is actually whiter and brighter,but it's not regulated and is bigger and heavier.BUT,I like how white it is and it is BRIGHTER as well.On the other hand the Pro mag can be used with 2,4,or 6 AA or 2 D's and will remain constant for about 3 hrs.Decisions,decisions! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Thanks for the review.

I would say get rid of the Silver Mag 3D DD Lux III TXOK UCL 12520 right away. Let's face it. It's not really silver. It's aluminum with some kind of silver ano. It's really kind of ugly IMO. Who wants thier flashlight to glow anyways? It gives away your position. I wouldn't want a UCL. Heck, I can't tell if I've misplaced the lens. Plus 12.52 K lux is too many photons for most situations.

Or...Keep them both. One goes here. One goes there.
