I am not particularly familiar with the spy lights but have admired them from some posts I have seen along the way.

The link you posted for the spy thread is selling them at $345.00. Is this one particularly special as I know that there is often a base model and then upgraded models.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge in this.

Edit: Or is the price difference due to the fact that it's a collectors item and rare?

The 005 haven't been available for years ....

EDIT ... and the Ti beads alone were $27, currently unavailable, and very difficult to acquire
