I have some 10180 cells that I use with a drake. However, with some of the cells the positive tab is slightly recessed, and does not make proper contact with the head of the drake. I believe some people have had similar issues with the orb wee as well. I'm interested in what people have done to get around this issue.

At the moment my solution is adding some aluminum foil to the positive end, and hold it in place with some sticky tape (used sparingly). Seems to work reasonably for me.

Just today I tried to add some solder to the positive end of the battery. However, somehow I ended up destroying the battery. It started getting quite hot and leaking out liquid. ooopss... hope I don't poison myself or anything.

I have some 8mmx1mm magnets, which I have tried on the both the positive end and the negative end. The light still would not light up. These are the magnets I used: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4248

I'm not keen to add solder to the head of the drake. Any other suggestions?
