I am looking for a spacer to fill the gap between the 6P battery tube threads (actually it's a Detonator added to the tube) and the tail cap switch. It's aprox 5 mm gap. I need someone to measure the size of the threads for me, I'm at work right now.
What is the width of the threads there?

I have a detonator extension on a 6P right here. When the tailcap is screwed in for constant ON, there is about a 2.25mm gap. When I loosen it to the point that is in momentary mode, the gap is still less than 3mm. Are you using different battery configuration?

The total, non-finished thread area of the extension is about 10mm (bare metal below o-ring) - not all of which is threaded. On the 6P iteslf, this area measures about 11mm. HTH

Rather than try to fill the gap I simply took about 2 threads off the detonator with a belt sander and cleaned it up. Now there is no gap at all when the cap is screwed down. This look much better. I only wish I could have got the black detonator to match the body. :)
