someone explain thermal management to me

Hey all
I'm a little confused by all the pastes and greases i have to work with and i think i understand but i could use a little guidance.

arctic aluminua two part expoxy= very permanent, i use this to glue on my emmitters

arctic alumina= i can use this to pot. Is it removable??

thermal heat sink grease from radio shack. I've used this with my heat sinks for my space needles.

I think i'm on the right track but help me out here

there are 2 type of "arctic alumina" one is arctic alumina adhesive which is a 2 part glue. plain arctic alumina is just thermal grease. you can pot with it but it wont harden up like arctic alumina adhesive
