Something is wrong with my new Noctigon K1 thrower

glad you got Tactical to work ;-)

get out of Tactical first..

then do 7 clics from off..

the Aux LEDs have 4 options and they rotate in this sequence for each 7C
1. low,
2. 7clics gives high,
3, 7 clics gives blink,
4. 7 clics gives Off

since your light is already in Blink, you just need to do 7 clics one time

good luck! ;-)

So the blinking stopped. I'm currently in the ramping mode from low to high then high to low when the button is held. I tried the 6 clicks from off to get back to the tactical momentary turbo mode but it wouldn't work so I think I must be in simple mode and I need to be in advanced mode ? I forget. LoL.

And can someone tell me how to get back into advanced mode WITHOUT the stupid button lights blinking again ?

Congrats on turning blinks off

Tactical only works in advanced, and if tactical was working the light was already in advanced. How did you get to advanced before?

How did you end up in simple mode now?

Please dont do factory reset.

To go from simple to advanced do 10H. Thats 9 clics plus Hold briefly.. The light will do a quick blink to confirm

Just did it. Now I'll do the 6 clicks for tactical momentary turbo.

And do I need to redo the 6 clicks to tactical momentary every time I take the battery out to charge it or will it remember it?

Added: So I'm in tactical momentary turbo and that's where I want to stay, however the button is now blinking a single bright blue blink followed by a dim blue blink then repeats. I again tried the 7 clicks from off but that didn't change the blinking.

A flashlight telenovela soap opera right here folks.

Kidding of course. Glad busseguy is confident enough to ask for assistance. Surely there are things he does every day at work that would stumble-humble me.

OK, I apologize for giving you wrong information.

I just duplicated your experience. I am unable to make the Aux stop blinking, when Tactical is enabled and the main LED is Off.

I was mistaken to suggest you do 7C when Tactical mode is disabled. I confirm that even with the Aux Off in non Tactical mode, the Aux turn ON at blinking, when Tactical is enabled.

> do I need to redo the 6 clicks to tactical momentary every time I take the battery out

Yes.

I don't mind doing the 6 clicks again after the battery removal, now I'm just hoping I can get the button to stop blinking.

> get the button to stop blinking.
I just tested and confirmed that 5C makes the Aux lights turn off.

Here are the concepts
1. Set the ceiling to level 150.
2. Ramp all the way up to ceiling (the light blinks to confirm when it reaches the top)
3. Turn the light off and do 5C (Aux turn OFF automatically when we use 5C)

Set the Ceiling,

Step by step.

1. Turn on the light at any level, then Do 7H from ON, the light will blink immediately, keep holding, the light will blink again, almost immediately.
2. Release the button at the 2d blink, the light will flicker, waiting for us to define the ceiling.
3. To set the ceiling to level 150 (Turbo) while the light is flickering, Click 1 time and do nothing else. When the light finishes flickering the ceiling is set to level 150 of 150 possible outputs (Turbo).
4. Turn the light Off

The light will remember the ceiling, you will not need to set it again

Once the ceiling is set, you will need to do these next two steps every time you unscrew the light. (such as when changing batteries)

1. Hold the switch button to Ramp all the way up to ceiling. The light will blink to confirm when it reaches the ceiling. Release the button.

2. Turn the light OFF with 1 clic (1C), then do 5 clics (5C) from Off.

Now holding the button (1H) gives momentary output at the last used output, which was the ceiling of 150.

And, the Aux turn OFF automatically when in 5C Momentary. The only way to get out of 5C Momentary is to open the light.

Yes, you have to do those last 2 steps, every time you open the light, .

Let me know if that works for you ;-)

Thanks for the opportunity to learn with you:
that 5C always turns the Aux off.
And 6C always turns Aux on (at blinking) ;-)

I posted a bug report and learned how to turn off the blinkies in Tactical mode

"Tactical mode uses the aux settings of lockout mode."

to change lockout Aux mode
1. Do 4C to get into lockout, the Aux will blink
2. Do 7C to turn off the Aux, done

to get out of lockout do 4C again, or 3C also works

now when using 6C Tactical, the Aux will be off.
