Hey guys, I'm looking for a reasonable charger for as cheap as possible. I saw a thread by UnknownVT about the Soshine SC-C3 smart charger, which was generally positive. However, I have a coupon for Focalprice, which only has the Soshine SC-C2 charger (SKU EB104W at focalprice or 6180 at Dealextreme). Anyone have any experience with the SC-C2 charger? Thanks in advance.

I have one of these and it works well , though not exactly a CC/CV charger ... It can be used on 17650 , 17670 , 18650 , 18670 ... It can charge two cells at 1000mA maximum , so might not be suitable for smaller capacity cells with spacers.

There are threads on CPF that you will find interesting if you use the Google search facility ... Definitely have a read.

I use mine more than my Trustfire charger and as long as the 18650s are taken out when the green LED comes on (give or take a few minutes) then the cells are perfectly charged at just under 4.2 volts.

Definitely read that thread that march.brown linked there.

Seems like a reasonable unit. The SC-S1 which I tested was horrific. I would never use one and wouldn't suggest anyone use one. To make matters worse, it had a nice fake UL marking on the back.

I guess that even the Soshine SC-S1 copies are themselves being copied.

Thanks for the input all. I was actually referring to the AA/AAA battery charger, SC-C2, which I believe is a separate charger from the one to which you were referring. I do appreciate all your help though and let me know if you come across anything.
