Source for 5.75" headlamp housings?

As the title says I am looking for a source of 5.75" headlamp housings.

I want to mount up some lights in the factory position of my Vanagon and have it look 'factory' or at least pretty darn good. There is the small chance that this could become a production upgrade kit so just pulling something out of a junkyard is not really a solution.

I found exactly what I am looking for at Narva, but have not received any response to my emails about purchasing stateside.

Anyone have any other good ideas?

"Housing" is a bit of an odd term for what you're looking for. Those are generally called buckets. I'm not sure I'd go quite so far as to say they're a commodity item, but they're definitely not impossible to get. Send an e-mail to Dan Stern; he can probably get you pointed to a good source.

I'd expect Grote and Dietz to have buckets. I think Stern links to the Grote buckets.

And sometimes you get lucky and find a steal of an eBay deal on a 5-3/4" motorcycle headlight bucket. One I found, even had a little blue high beam indicator on top.
